Flat plates cut from water buffalo horn, 160 mm long and 2–8 mm thick, for makers of buttons, buckles, eyewear components and knife-handle scales.
Plates are cut from two parts of the horn. Hollow-section plates come from the hollow lower part of the horn, opened and pressed flat. Middle-tip plates are cut from the solid section towards the tip, giving a denser plate.

Storage and handling
Store cartons in a dry, ventilated place away from direct sunlight and heat. Horn is a natural material: keep it away from prolonged damp or high heat to prevent warping.
